Masculinity with femininity is the theme of this collection. I wanted to create a new image of modern women, who are brave, strong and confident.  

 

Exploring the structure of armor enabled me to find a way to combine old elements with new designs. The armor shapes inspired me to include the shoulder protection and breast plates that are often seen on armor into my designs. The texture of the armor was something that I wanted to incorporate into my designs to suggest protection for the wearer. Light cream colors represent a woman’s tender soft emotion, and shell buttons and black sequins reveal a sense of strength and firmness.

 

Even strong and brave women still need protection to some extent. What I hope is that these garments with the feeling of armor will meet women’s needs for a sense of security.
